PageRank (Google)
I was wondering how long it took to get PageRank from Google? My site has been up for about 2 and half months and I haven't gotten anything yet.

I know I should have at least a PR of 2-3 because I get about 800 unique visitors a day and I have at least 50-100 inbound links from good websites.

The "good" websites may not be as "good" as you think, so your page rank may be lower. Once your website has been indexed and inbound links are found (use google webmaster tools to assatain this) a page rank should be assigned. On my last submission of a site, the page rank was received almost instantaneously.

PageRank is assigned as soon as a age is found. Every page has its own PR by default. Incoming links help to add to it. But you cannot see this PR because Google does not make this information public. All you get to see is the toolbar which is not only updated every three months, but is at least that old.

PageRank has nothing to do with that. It's based exclusively on link popularity. As soon as a page is found and links are found to it PR is calculated for it. It's that simple.
