Problems with Gogle--pelase help! Thank you!
I had my sites listed in Google--it was relatively easy to get them there, but they disappeared, and I've contacted Google about this some times now.
I was told: "As we add new pages and incorporate updates to existing pages, you may see changes in the ranking and inclusion of sites in our index. Because our index changes regularly, it's possible your site will regain its ranking in a few weeks. In the meantime, we hope that you will review the helpful tips posted on our site." So I told them that it seems to me that something is wrong with their indexing system if sites fall out, and in, and I asked if this also happens for sponsored sites.. I'm awaiting an answer. They also told me that if people enter the URL of your site, as the search term, and your site comes up, then its included--I said if people already knew the URL, why would they be searching for it, and if they didn't know the URL, whatever search terms they used wouldn't find my sites, as they had dropped out of the listings. Please help me get them listed in Google, and stay there--they are simple sights, but I work very hard on them, and want others to share-- My sites are listed at: http://www.home.earthlink.net/~nomorabito/ http://www.home.earthlink.net/~bobmorabito/ For the second site, the keywords I used were (and the site was listed in only a couple of days): James Taylor, music, style, technique, guitar, tabs, transcriptions, play like, in the style of, Sally Taylor, Ben Taylor, Livingston Taylor, Bob Morabito, Fire and Rain, Close Your Eyes, Carolina in My Mind, October Road, JT, Pull Over Thank you again, for all your help- Peace, Bob Morabito |

you're definately not alone in this...my site was also recently dropped from google, despite all my efforts to optimize...all you can do is build a good site, and do your best to get inbound links to it. that, and wait.
good luck! |

I'm sorry its affecting you also..
what really bothered me was Google's smugness in all of this, in their replies to me....and just waiting.... Thanks again for your kindness, and help, ran_dizolp! Peace, Bob |

i know it seems crappy about their replies and all that...one thing you do have to keep in mind tho...imagine how many sites are dropped from the rankings everytime google does an update...i can't even fathom how many of the same emails they receive.
it's a tough field, that's for sure. Cheers! |
