When I search in Google, I notice that some Web sites give me a result with an indented list of interior pages.
I've tried to look into why this happens by scouring the source code of the sites that I see it happening to. The links that appear don't seem to correlate with any type of link organization on the page (i.e. major navigation), and I can't find any link relationship on the pages that would give them priority. Does anyone know how this works, or why it happens? -B |

As with anything Google it's all part of an algorithm that no one but Google knows. The one common factor is that this typically occurs only for the top ranked site and is usually a major brand/popular site. You can read more about it in Matt Cutt's blog.
