Questions regarding Bay Area Housing
I work for Bay Area Housing which is a site for San Francisco Bay Area Real Estate but the site doesn't show up on Google, but does on all the other search engines. Does anybody know why that is?
The website is URL which is very relevant to what we do and is pertinent to the San Francisco, San Jose, Berkeley, Palo Alto, Burlingame, Hillsborough regions where we provide our Real Estate and Mortgage Services, and Mortgage Rates. We really didn't do anything differently for Yahoo and the other search engines, must be do something special to get on Google? Your Help is Greatly Appreciated. Thank You. |

Your index is a serious mess. Way too compacted and not at all bot friendly. I'm surprised yahoo lists you but then I have NO idea what that search engine does anyway.
Take a look here and see what the bot is likely to see. http://wenpigsfly.galacvalley.com/ex/ Click on http://wenpigsfly.galacvalley.com/ex/ex.htm and you'll get an idea. Even if all your pages were found, the URLS are sooo unfriendly. And frames are not the way to go if you want a successfull page. I ran this through dreamweaver after trying to manually space some of it. Source formatting made it readable but not much better I'm afraid. |

search engine help followup
thanks for your input, i guess you are right, right now I have no control over our website's use of frames since we are getting hosting through a provider. But I will definitely keep that in mind when I create the site from scratch.
thanks again |

Your host forces you to use frames on your site?
