Question Rank on Yahoo not Google..

Hello, I develop the website http://www.erse.cc

I do not understand why my website ranks well on yahoo for the search "erse" we come up #2.

For the search "erse" on google we are no where to be found, though similar sites that rank well along with us on yahoo are on google.

We I search on google "site:www.erse.cc" it shows some pages.. but most are cached from a while back and are not utilizing the current updated titles.. I have a google sitemap but it still is not adding my pages to the index..

Any advice?

How long has your site been up and running for?

It usually takes a while to get up there in the google results.

You also show up with a PR of '0'...build some backlinks, and keep adding content to your site.

Hope that helps.

Wink

My site has been running for 9 months and I have a google PR of 3 on most of my pages.

I have a google sitemap and that helps to notify google of any new pages when I resubmit it.

In my experience, the best way to increase your page rank is to increase the number of quality back links to your site.

Most link exchanges are no good as they will not give you quality links. Quality links are those which are relevent to your site, this is the area you need to focus on.

Even if you have to manually request each link, it'll be worth it eventually.

Hope this helps.
