same site, new url
I have a site http://www.nova-dataonline.com that has a google pr of 3 and I have found that the url we have chosen in rather difficult to remeber and easily misspelled.
So I thought that it would be better if we went with shop.nova-data.com (nova-data.com is the main site and nova-dataonline is our online store) since we own the nova-data.com domain. So I called out ISP and had them direct all requests for shop.nova-data.com to the IP address of www.nova-dataonline.com. The problem is this seems to have killed the pr for my page.
Does this mean that Google has yet to index the new url? Will the pr go back once Google realizes that the new url points to the same page?
