sandboxing and using PHPSESSIONIDs
Hi there guys,
I've got a couple of questions regarding SEO. 1. Is it true that Google currently "sandboxes" all the new sites so there is now way to get indexed in at least 6 months? I see Googlebot visited the site but now sure what the result it... 2. I have URLs like resort.php?id=1&PHPSEESSID=XXXXXX. Is it consired "SEO-unfriendly"? I am reading alot of articles on SEO nowadays and it appears that noone can say for sure and this is all "hearsay"... Thanx, Eugene. |

it is thought that google does sandbox new content. But to bust out if it, faster than 6 months,
you will need... Link from other sites with similar content Link from your site to similar content A good linking structure to transfer PR to each section of your site a good sitemap (less than 101K) Proper listings in DMOZ and the Yahoo! directory Content that gets refreshed 1/day or 1/week Targeted keyword in your anchor text H1 tags for main keywords H2 tags for sub keywords and a sprinkling of main/sub keyowrd in good content. Make sure to use the meta tags (ie keywords and content) Don't overabuse the main keyword, or they won't give as good of a rating as when you use the keywords in moderation. There is a way to get rid of session ID's when the google bot is around, search google for it. Most people think that Googlebot won't follow a link with a session ID in it. |
