Search Engine Page Cache Doesn't render CSS?!?
I know Google, MSN and Yahoo are the biggest "blind" users of the web. When I view the "Cache" of my site in MSN or Yahoo, it comes up as plain text with NONE of my CSS attached to it.
Is this simply because I use an xhtml strict dtd? Or is it because I run my own server? Seems everyone else's cache comes up as their actual site. Anyone know? Go to MSN.com and type in Integrated Technologies. (I'm on page 3..in the middle...integrated-technologies.us). Check the cache and see if my site is displayed as it should or if it displays as a black and white page.

Everything looks same to me except the dark gray/red buttons do not show in the cached version, just the text.

Search engines only cache the currently page, not any external files for that page (like css). So when you view the cache, you won't see it rendered properly if your design relies heavily on css.
But then again, your visitors usually won't look at the cache (99% probably won't even know what it is).
