Seo 101?
Hey all...
I need to call upon some of the more wiser denizens of this here community. I co-own an IT Outsourcing & Solutions company that services local area small businesses. We end up being their single poc for everything IT.
A few of my customers have been requesting websites. This is no problem for me. They have also requested SEO. This sort of presents a problem for me.
I understand, for the most part, what SEO is. I have done some reading on the subject feel a need to ask a few questions prior to taking on something that I might want to leave up to someone else.
1. How time-consuming is SEO?
I'm not necessarily talking about big companies doing LOTS of internet commerce. I'm talking about fairly well-to-do local area small businesses that want a web presence for their company. Mostly static informational type content.
2. Where can I go to learn about the most effective ways to perform SEO for these types of businesses? Any type for that matter!
3. How much does one charge for this stuff?
4. I have LOTS of other tasks in my daily routine and wonder if I should just find a competent SEO company and just outsource. Good idea? Bad idea? Know someone? Recomendations?
Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated,
-Spacey
