SEO verses PPC

Based on your previous experience, have you has better results with natural search engine results or from using PPC programs like adwords, YSM etc.?
I have personally had better results with SEO and have managed to get a steady stream of 6,000 unique visits per day. I have alot of experience with over 10 different PPC programs and I may someday go back to them when I have found a really high converting website.

It all comes down to the time that you've got to spare. I've got a site that I have PPC for, and that works for me. But that is mainly because the time that I'd need to write articles, find links, etc is worth a whole lot more to me then that small amount that I'm paying for the PPC service. If I could spare the time to do more SEO work on it, I would love to, but there's always a fine balancing act on these things.

6000 visitors per day is great. Well done.
I also use SEO most of the time but I use PPC if I want to generate traffic quickly.

Seo easily because once you get your site ranked in the top 10 you know exactly how much work is needed to keep it there . PPC just drains your pocket books.

I like organic search engine traffic (SEO). PPC is probably great short term, but as soon as you stop your campaign your traffic is likely to drop off dramatically.

One of our sites gets 300,000+ visitors per day from search engines.

I'd say that it depends on what kind of buisines you're in - If you're interested in selling cars then choosing seo would be
a bad choice to optimize your site on the word "cars" where as using the same word on adwords would be a smart idea
