SEs only listing main page

My web site's pages(that aren't the index) aren't being listed on Google, Yahoo!, or MSN.

I've submitted my site-map to Google, and verified it. Also, I've submitted my web site. Google crawls my site, but only lists the index page.

My robots.txt is very simple:

Code:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /admin/

I've done SEO friendly URLs, keyword optimization, coded it to use headings properly, alt image text, and there's some decent content.

Does it just take time? Do I need websites linking to mine?

(codingwithstyle.com if you'd like to verify the pages/content.) 's become very frustrating over the past few weeks.

Surely you need backlinks. It'll influence your site PR. As for the indexing of the other pages with SEs it needs more time for it.

Submitting a sitemap certainly helps Google to index your site eventually. I believe that the bots will index the rest of your pages after the next visit.

You can see the date of the bots visit in your sitemap account. Do let us know if this is not the case.

well i never had this problem (they indexed it all at once) are any of your links broken? or is there a problem accessing your other pages FROM your index page? cuz all your pages have to be liked through the index page sorta of like for i.g.

index > shop > shoes

like that in order for google or any other search to index it... so make sure they are sorta of linked to your index page and look for broken links

This is all I could find in the webmaster site map tools...couldn't find a date.

Yes, all pages are accessibly via the index, but I do have one broken link. Could that be the reason?

you can do deep link exchange, or find a directory site that accept deep link submission for free
