Short Urls - what style is best?
If I rewrite long dynamic urls to short urls, what style lends itself best to search engines?

For instance, if I want my site to rank high on the terms Guitar Lessons, should I have urls of the form

mysite/guitarlessons........html
or
mysite/guitar-lessons......html

Look into Restful URLs. For example, Wikipedia uses a RESTful URL (/wiki/REST).

So in your case, maybe yoursite/guitar/lessons or yoursite/lessons/guitar depending on how it is organized.
