Sites spoofing alexa ratings
Is there a way to spoof alexa ratings? yzoo dot co dot uk (this is not a link) claims to be top 100,000. If you visit it, it's got one page with a paragraph of content.
Apart from that, i don't know about anyone else but the search doesn't even work. |

Just install the alexa toolbar and visit your site every day. Watch your rankings rise to be under 100,000. Get your friends to do it, too, and watch it climb even higher. It's not rocket science. That's why no one takes Alexa seriously.

exactly. Alexa isn't really super-reliable, so don't take anything they have to say as fact. |
