Still pr 1???

why is my site still a pagerank 1? i added tons of back links and i have a whole reciprocal linking section http://www.viportals.com/index.php?params=links/

i hope i dont have to change it to display the actual links instead of using a php link to count the outs... no idea how to count outs otherwise. any ideas?

please make a thorough analysis of your site and you will come to know the problems with your site. only one thing i would like to say that optimize your site by giving 1st priority to visitors and then search engines.

OK fine, few things i would like to share with you regarding your on page. let us take an example of your left menu

left menu: your left menu has been started with login, search, featured game, top VIPs, VIP portal statistics. But your left menu should be started with your key products that you have done much bellow after VIP portal statistics. So you can make some alteration in left menu

News: you have mentioned the news in the body and the letters are also very small. Rather than keeping these news in the body you should try to make a news section, which can be kept at extreme right side.

Fonts: fonts are very small and it will be better if you can increase the font size, so that every body can read the text easily.

These are only few things about your site. Also this is very essential to bring some good back links(relevant) for your website to increase it's back links.

Google should not care about font size - only the actual text.
Your users may have thoughts on it though.

Better to make the font size 12 and this is the normal. if you use a large no.of text in your site then no one will be interested to stick in your site. As this is a game site so you can make it beautiful with good images and balanced text. Don't use only text or only images. make a balance of these two.

what you say is absolutely right and i do agree with you, but if your text is not easy for visitors to read due to small fonts then don't you think it will add an adverse effect on your e-commerce site?

see on the left side i have smaller menu boxes? the thing is, say for Best VIPortals Games, or Popular, or Newest, the text goes over 1 line and it looks really ugly. is there a way to indent it if it goes over one line? do you think i should just change them to <ol> and somehow indent the second lines of <li>s?

ALSO, i forget what it was called, but somebody mentioned using tags that are more literal, so instead of <div> for a paragraph, use <p>. i know this is asking a lot, but where on my site can i improve on that, because i feel it is a good idea?

i think the <ol> instead of my own numbers is a good start, but where else can i improve?
