What types of pages do search engines index? Are such pages as php being indexed? I understand the obvious pages (htm and html) but what if there are links to php pages.

I know that Google is able to index all of the below:

pdf, asp, jsp, hdml, shtml, xml, cfm, doc, xls, ppt, rtf, wks, lwp, wri, swf

Other search engines may be able to do the same or most of it.
