URL being taken over... forwarding problem
For some strange reason, my website is taken over by some other site after 11:00 pm everyday for the last 3-4 days. I was on Number1 and still on #1 on google.com, but some weird thign happens, this website takes my place, when keyword "Rate Desi" is typed.... and then starts forwarding visitors to my website, here is the URL of this website:
www.ccinet.org/exit.cfm?URL=http://www.desirater.com And my URL is: http://www.desirater.com I dont want this to happen. I contacted this site, and they have not responded. They dont wanna respond, cause they are getting all the hits. Please help me out with this issue |

I've just looked and as far as I can see you're still sitting at no. 1 for "rate desi" with and without the "s.
As far as that site linking to you like that, I can't see the problem. They are giving you a back link, they aren't stealing any content, and they are openly saying that they are forwarding visitors to your site. Anyone searching for your site wouldn't stay on that site, they'd click through to yours. The only time that a site is going to take hits from you is when they steal your content, navigation, etc. Honestly. this issue is something that either means nothing at all, or is slightly positive, so I wouldn't be worried about it. |

What they are doing is only good for you. Don't get upset about it.
It is interesting that you note that google rates them higher than you only at certain hours of the day. I've never heard of that kind of thing before.

is not really good for you what they are doing because they can hijack those visitors at any time
this is actually google's fault as it sees www.ccinet.org/exit.cfm?URL=http://www.desirater.com as being original and http://www.desirater.com clone, instead of otherwise |

If they are causing problems by redirecting to a differnt URL them yours when they are stating that they are redirecting to you, then that is a problem. But if they are sending the traffic your way, just shut up and accept it! Have you looked at the prices for traffice these days? It's not cheap, so you're getting a damned good deal for FREE. I'd be more hten happy about that myself. If you don't want those visitors, send them my way. |

Do a search for your keywords, then click the "Dissatisfied?" link at the bottom of the search results. Fill out the form, explaining that YOU are the original site, and that they are copying you. Include their url that shows your own url in it.
