My website has been live for about 2 months now and I immediately submitted to Google, MSN and Yahoo. It appears that ONLY my home page seems to be listed on Yahoo (I'm not on the others yet but this is supposed to take longer). However, when I submitted my site, it said I need only submit my home page and the rest of my site would be crawled and indexed automatically.
How long does it take for my site to be be properly crawled so I can search for every page on my site? ![]() |

Apparently google does updates on that sort of stuff quarterly...which kinda sucks but what can you do.
get some good navigation thru your site so taht the bots can spider your site easily, adn i see no reason why they wouldn't. i've even heard that site submission to the big engines isn't necessary, as they'll find your site themselves. hth

Thanks for that, I think you've confirmed my suspisions there. I've ensured I have a decent site map for the bots to navigate my site.

Sounds like the only option we all have, especially with Google...however I suspect that the process will become quicker and more efficient in the future.
