What influences Google PR apart from links?
I am trying hard to increase the google page rank of my online casino site, Playhard online casino. Last week my PR finally went up from zero to two overnight.

I think this was from a link swap I did with another site, but are there other factors that influence PR, e.g. having the right keywords?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Text with your keywords (but don't overdue it).

Text-based links (instead of or in addition to) buttons.

Light, fast pages.

Easy on the Javascript.

Content that changes each time they spider.

Keywords in the header tags at the top of the page.

Keywords in title.

Keywords in links.

Keywords in URL.

They will rank you higher if they find you without you submitting to them.

And, most importantly, patience!

Also, keep in mind that you're going after extremely competitive keywords. Try to target as much as you can.

also content rich,
ive heard the higher content to code ration you have the better it is for PR not sure if its true or not

mv, nothing. PageRank is all about links. But PR is just one of important factors in search engine ranking.
