Hi,

There is a good SEO Glossary for terms such as Keyword Density here.

As far as I know there is no exact number for keyword density. I tend to go for between 6% and 10% max keyword density which I feel is a good balance - SE Informative but not overkill and risking a stuffing flag.

In your 250wpp that'd be about 12-25 keywords. Don't forget though, it's also dependant on the context; no use hitting 10% if that amount makes your copy unintelligable. Keep it readable to humans.

hi,

but what i know is that the no.of keywords in 250words post should be 3 to 4. and the percentage of a key word shold not be more than 7%. it is better keep the keywords and key phrases within 4%.

According to me, keyword density should be less. It could be in between, 3-5%. Don’t do keyword stuffing.

The most obvious is lots of small or near invisible text on the page. It works - but only for a short time. So dont bother. Obvious lists of mispellings (like the ones you can generate on websites like SEOchat) are also frowned on by Google.
