Try www.dreamsubmit.co.uk for most of the big engines. The only sure way is to do it manually though because many of the engines block auto-submission.

you don't need to submit your pages to any search engines at all. get more backlinks to your sites. search engines prefer find new pages by following backlinks.

Hi hmbelal. It is a common misconception amongst site owners that you must submit your sites to search engines on a regular basis (or at all).
First, there are only a few "key players" when it comes to search engines results. You may notice that sometimes when you search directories you may see "powered by google", etc. Major search engines generally provide listings from a variety of sources, which they may get from third-party search providers or through their own efforts. With that said, its not neccessary to submit to a bunch of sites that get their information from the same place. For the most part, the main search engines you want to impress with your website are Yahoo and Google. Google will be the hardest to please. Make sure your website has relevant, original content, and is properly coded. If your site is finished and you believe everything is in order, then you can get some inbound links to help boost your page rank, although that is not the only factor that influences page rank. The higher your page rank, the more authority your page will be given and crawled more frequently and may present a higher result in the search engine. A search engine spider typically revisits a website once a month so if your site is new, it could take a month or two to get found but then you should see regular visits. If you download the Google toolbar, you will be able to see when google arrives. I have some search engine information like this on my website that may help you. I hope what I have said is helpful. Submitting to search engines may help get you listed by them, but it certainly wont get you a high ranking.
For that you need links, relevant ones, from pages that other people link to. The only way to get that is genuinely good content. |
