This happens from time-to-time. I wouldn't worry about it unless it stays like this for over a month and you notice your site removed from their SERPs. Your toolbar PR has no meaning. As long as your site ranks well you have nothing to be concerned about.

Well, you're not banned by Google (at least not on the datacenter i looked at). I'd say Google is doing a shuffle at the moment. Some of my sites were affected, but none took a PR loss like that.

Although in saying that, www.dmoz.org went from PR9 to 0 a while back, so you're not the only one.

The only concern I have about this is where some sites, i.e. Text Link Ads read the Google PR from the toolbar. And your site is valued based on your Page Rank and you can earn good money if you have anything above a PageRank of 4.

I will sit tight for a bit, as you say my SERPs are still fine so all is ok really.

You can check your page strength and analyze it and make correction accordingly to improve your ranking. Anyway I found some of the datacenter still showing your PR#4

It seems to have steadied just this morning.....will it remain???

If anyone can do a quick check on PR and post it here, it will give me a consensus of how my PR is now displaying.

Thanks for your posts!

I didn't get what Alexa does

(URL address blocked: See forum rules)/page-strength
(URL address blocked: See forum rules)

are very interesting sites.
Thank you for letting me know these tool exist.
I didn't get what Alexa does.
For example I did a serarch for dbc-canada.com
and Alexa showed "2863657" number.
What does it mean?

Thanks,
Robert

That means there are 2,863,656 websites that get more traffic then that one. Or, in other words, that website is not very popular at all.

Keep in mind that Alexa is not accurate so you shouldn't take that number too seriously.

your site is a nice and beautiful site but one thing i find from your site is that your site is very slow and taking much time to open.

I now see my site tophatweddings.co.uk as having PR4 from 3 datacenters.

I mostly see 0 as my PR.

Is an update going on here? Can anyone unravel this mystery of the PR update?
