I don't think seo is soul of website, the soul of the website should be combinations of how it is structured, how much it is accessible etc ... ( accessible to wide range of sources like lynx, pda's etc.)

No doubt SEO is a big part of getting traffic to your websites, but you really shouldn't put all your eggs in the search engine basket.

Instead also try to market via other means.

About structure...What do you think about this webiste

I have freaked out!! I was in goggles first page for a few weeks and now I dissappeared within last 48 hours!!!!!!

Id love to hear YOUR comments sarav

after reviewing your site, the structure seems to be fine but the site responded slowly , pages takes time to load , i think this problem is with the server caching, as the images are loaded again on every page refresh (its a guess for the problem).

rather your query about google rankings , which keywords you are targeting for your site? and other site might be proving good content for that keywords, just go through them.

The delay issue is because of my server. I use quadrahosting and it seems to be working very slow while connect to any database. Its the same for my other website

I use Yslow and its as optimized as possible.
About content, I use too much keywords and content. In yahoo im number one for many keywords, but google cut me in a day!!!!! I really need to come back.

I agree my friend. You are absolutely right. The thing is I spent 3 months creating a kick *** share accommodation website and underestimated the text and now text is kicking my ***. The website works sweet as I struggle with the text,

I think "heart" is the better term to use. SEO pumps traffic to the site by getting good rank in various SE

Without a good website forget getting online sales.

Its the website which people will look at to think wether or not to buy or continue browsing.

If you concentrate on seo and not usability people will not be bothered to look around even if you are top of the search engine

I find it annoying when I am speaking to someone about there website and the first thing they say is I want to be top of google. This is before who the target audience is, or what the website will look like.

People forget that its the nice easy to use website that will keep visitors coming back.

Yes, SEO is important but not untill you have a finished working website which is able to be used by internet users.
