www.domain not indexed by Google
I did a search for a specific domain on Google. One of them had domain.com indexed showing page title and text description. When I did same search for www.domain.com, it only showed domain name as result with no description text.
However, DNS is setup to go to same page for both www.domain.com and domain.com. Why is Google indexing these differently? Does it have anything to do with the URL that was submitted to google for submission? |

Google treats each domain differently so www.domain.com and domain.com are not the same thing.
The googlebot can either use the meta description or figure out content for the site, so it's possible to have different summaries. Dvd from WhichOption - Rent DVDs for Less [/QUOTE] |
