There few things you can do about it. First get all your meta tags, titles to match your keywords. If you're using wordpress, look for a better SEO plugin which will take care of most of these issues.
Get quality content in blog post to include smart anchor text with your keywords. Also, include some external links with high quality related to your niches.
Put the sidebars and see to that the titles in sidebars are related to your keywords

first find some keyword by research at google keyword the put it in add tags section. You can add title and description by settings.

Blogspot is Google friendly but I think is much easier and flexible to create and manage (optimize) a blog in Wordpress.

The problem I think is that when visitors hover their mouse into your name and see that url directing to a blogger profile in their status bar, its more likely that they wonít click it. Most readers just donít have the time to scan another page so in my opinion that would more likely give lesser traffic (but maybe more targeted)Ö
Its like in affiliate marketing, having a landing page or direct-linking to it.. well just my 2 cents

Your blog structure should meet SEO standards. Usage of Keywords, Meta Tags, Contents, H1,H2,H3 and Subject should meet the On Page SEO standards. For Blogs no need to do On-page optimization techniques...Main thing is to do maintain the Fresh Content / Unique Content....Content is king in Blogs...If Posting your articles is unique then automatically increase your website traffic along with good backlinks..

Blogspot is a free blogging platform powered by google. It is not much seo friendly. You need to use meta tag for on page optimization. Better if you use wordpress CMS to build your site. It is seo friendly.
