    How to make blogger comments Dofollow

    Hello folks,
    I have created a blog with blogger.com and it has been live since two months now. But I have not got enough visitors and comments on my blog. It is a worth reading blog and but may be my blog is not giving comment luv so commentators donít comment on this. I wonder if there is any html, css or script coding available that can make blogger comments dofollow?

    I haven't heard of such a thing like manipulating links from 'nofollow' to 'dofollow'. I would also recommend to avoid such techniques as they can cause spam or it can be a black hat technique for your website. It can harm your search engine rankings.

    • Will-O-The-Wisp agrees : Yes - I would also avoid making your comments dofollow. Sounds like a recipe for disaster!

    How about letting us decide whether the blog is worth reading or not. What is the URL?

    Just follow following simple steps

    Step 1:

    Go to blogger Dashboard > Edit Html > Expand Widget templates and search for

    <a expr:href='data:comment.authorUrl' rel='nofollow'><data:comment.author/></a>
    or just
    rel='nofollow'
    Step 2:

    Remove

    rel='nofollow'
    from step 1
    Step 3:

    Click on SAVE TEMPLATE and that’s all. Now your blog is Dofollow and will get lots of comments

    To the best of my knowledge, no-follow links are not worthless. On the contrary, they can draw a lot of traffic to your website.

    I don't think the value of no-follow links is actually in dispute here. I agree as well that they're useful for traffic.

    What's under discussion in this thread is whether or not a blog's comment section should have do-follow links - that strikes me as a bad idea. A do-follow link is effecitvely using your site to say that you trust a link and vouch for it. But anyone can post anything they want in blog comments - what if someone starts spamming your comments section with links to Pornhub or something? And then you've given do-follows to all those thinks? I don't think anything good would come of that for your blog.

    I think there's a good reason that most blog comments and forums no-follow all links. It's too easy for spammers to come in and have a field day abusing your site that way.

    First of all, why would you set the links to dofollow? There are some cases of other bloggers in Blogspot and Wordpress that setting their links to dofollow can increase the volume of spam comments for good. Another thing is that dofollow links from a website won't be getting some Google love. Dofollow or nofollow, just focus on creating quality relevant content that can give value towards your readers or audience.
