3,500$ Dell Server on a Static IP DSL Line....
I have a 3,500$ dell server running thru a static ip dsl line. and thru a Linksys 4 port dsl router, is there anybody who would know why the server gets disconnected from the internet for random amounts of time at random times of the day? :-\ any ideas? anything? im sure anything will help.

I don't think the cost of the server has any bearing on it's driver compatibility with an operating system ;p. Try upgrading the firmware on your hub. when it is being intermittant, run a ping to your gateway, then wan IP, or run a traceroute to find WHERE the packet stops. Find out that and you'll know what to tackle next
