What or how do you do user authentication in Windows 2000 IIS? Do I need to get a seperate program or does IIS have its own authentication?
What I want to do is have a password protected area and have users put in the username and password they would like after paying with credit card.

Not entirely sure, but couldn't you set up the account on the IIS box in User Manager and then assign the user the rights to the folder/file in question in the MMC?
