What or how do you do user authentication in Windows 2000 IIS? Do I need to get a seperate program or does IIS have its own authentication?
What I want to do is have a password protected area and have users put in the username and password they would like after paying with credit card. |

Not entirely sure, but couldn't you set up the account on the IIS box in User Manager and then assign the user the rights to the folder/file in question in the MMC?
