Question Cisco PIX 506E Firewalls...

Hey there guys,

I'm just wondering if any of you out there are using or have used the Cisco PIX 500 Series. If so, what are your experiences and thoughts?

My company would definitely be classed as small/medium. A number of network security consultants have suggested that I consider the firewalls that are part of the PIX 500 series.

What do you think guys?

The 506 is a nice little firewall easy setup, I think there is a GUI based app that comes with them now. I prefer the command line myself. If you have any other Cisco hardware running IOS you willpick it right up no problem.
