Hi everybody,
I would like to check the thumbprint of a server certificate. The issueing CA gave me a hex string (1E:74:C3:86:3C:0C:35:C5:
3E:C2:7F:EF:3C:AA:3C 9) which should somehow correspond to the fingerprint I have in the certificate (2099 00B6 3D95 5728 140C D136 22D8 C687 A4EB 0085). The certificate's fingerprint is sha1 encoded.
How can I compare the 2 strings correctly ?
Thanks for any help !
