Hi *nix Gurus,
I have Linux server running with Netatalk Server (that's for our MAC designers). Also this machine has two network interfaces and two IPs - one internal and one world-wide. Right because I have inet-wide IP my NetAtalk tells me: - Can't register "My Server Name":Workstation and - Can't register "My Server name":netatalk@ due to this - my MAC users have to type IP address of this server - they can't access it just by name :-( so how to setup Netatalk or Linux Net options to broadcast only for internal network IP scope? thanx |

How about this: http://www.anders.com/words/netatalk.html (I've never tried it myself, but they show you how to configure it for two cards.)

Hi,
thanx a lot - I've found how to solve by myself - but this page tells even more ... cool, that'll help me in the future. Ciao |
