What, exactly, do you mean? Do you mean cryptographic algorithms? or some other sort of encoding?

What do you mean by reliability? Nearly all programs are deterministic, they don't have reliability. They work or don't work. That is what test vectors are for.

first of all your algorithm components you have to check
2. each component evaluation is required,like good s-box,for block ciphers and high degree primitive polynomials and good crypto boolean funtions etc,...
