Would like to setup Single Server signon
Hello everyone, I am looking for thoughts of what to do...

My company is redesigning our total network, currently we are a SUN/Sparc - Solaris - 10 world and are redesigning ourselves to a HP/Blades, using bare metal VMware 5 with the guest as being SUSE enterprise edition Linux.

My question is about wanting to set up and use the best practices for Single Server Network SignOn is LDAP or Open LDAP the best way to go. We are willing to redesign the right and best practices set up to reach that goal of Single Point Authorization of our Linix Users for our network. I am asking is LDAP the best way to go and what is the current version and what are the best resources for this? Is there anything else we might also consider?
