Question How to decrypt this Vigenere cipher text?

    Hi!

Can anybody help me to decrypt this message?

SEFQB QNVCLDDCUAMAD HY YQD RPHIHD ONSUKDTRDCZHKOUNS

I know it's encoded by the Vigenere method, that the key is 7 characters long, it's written in Spanish, a 26-letter alphabet is used (numbered from 0 to 25) and the blank space character is numbered as 27.

    Can anyone help me, please?

    Thanks in any case.

    I presume this is homework...

This is a good link to how the cypher works, and heres another one.
If you show what youve tried so far maybe some-one else can help ( its basically a substitution cypher/caesar cypher).

Hey, cool, I learned my first encryption method, thanks displeaser hehe Also learned how to decrypt it, just readed the Wikipedia article Pretty simple cipher, just need to know the key.

sergestusx, you need to know the key, that's all you need to know There's lots of Vigenere en/decrypters if you do Google search..

FWIW, heres a link to the Perl Vigenere module. If you know Perl you can work the cypher out quite easily from the code.
