    email security

    hi,

how can a linux user be sure that his emails havent been read by root or a superuser ?

is there any script/program that warns if the email is accessed by them (root, su, etc)

    thanks.

I am not aware of something like that, but you can always encrypt your mail... That way you won't have to worry about root (or any one else) reading your mail.

I've always liked PGP personally, so I reccomend that. http://web.mit.edu/network/pgp.html or http://www.pgpi.org/
