    Linux to Windows Server Transfer

I've been forced into a situation where I need to transfer a PHP based website (currently hosted on a RedHat machine with Apache) over to a Windows 2000 Server machine running IIS.

Two problems I ran into immediately are directories that were previously password protected are not and file uploads don't seem to work.

I'm well aware that .htaccess doesn't work with IIS but how can I get it's equivilant?

Secondly, I believe the image uploads deals with a permissions issue. Is it possible to give write permissions only to IIS or will it be delt with in a completely different manor?

    Thanks

The only relevance this has to security is that you have just effectively removed it from your setup. Try asking the PHP forum or Microsoft support.
