    You should start with the "Linux NAG" (Network Administratorīs Guide, should be on your CD-Roms) and the LDP Projectīs pages. They have several "Security HOWTOs".
    For more detailed infos about special security issues, you should read your distributorīs homepage, get on their security mailing list and visit sites like www.cert.org regularly. (hourly? )
