    PHP and PGP

I want to encrypt credit card numbers with pgp and my hosting is on a unix machine with php. I have followed tutorials etc on this and other sites but cannot get the whole package to work.
I have got as far as realising that I have to have a keyring on the server, my keyring is public.pkr. All the info I have, details command line operations which I do not have access to. My host tells me that all I have to do is upload the pkr file to the root of my site. I really need a blow by blow account of how to do this, but any info / examples would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Mike.

As far as security is concern, you are not supposed to store credit card numbers (clear-text or encrypt) on the server, especially on a public host where everyone can read your key.

Sure, but only my public key is on the server.
Anyway I do not want to store the card details on the database but I want to encrypt and mail them as soon as they are received.
