Microsoft products not geared for security
I was just reading this article linked from slashdot, in which the Vice President of Microsoft stated that the MS Software is not geared for security. (http://www.cw360.com/bin/bladerunner...HAN=13&CFLAV=1)
I then checked this technet article out (http://support.microsoft.com/default...;en-us;Q328691) which has a particular line which says "As of August 2002, the PSS Security Team has not been able to determine the technique that is being used to gain access to the computer" - so it seems the vice president was right!
I use MS products and I have no problem with them, im not one of these anti-ms people who was born with a linux kernel for a brain - i just found this interesting and thought id share.

I can't anyone from MS stating that their products aren't geared towards security in that link, but that's irrelavant. It's plainly obvious to any IT professional that their products aren't geared towards security, hence the multitude of exploits for their crappy software which are discovered every month. They are geared towards a mass market, with security being a scant regard.
