Hi Guys,
I wrote a java program that makes use of the JavaMail API and the Java Actiation Framework (JAF). I am trying to make a policy file granting access to the resources but for some reason, I end up getting the same error everytime: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.util.PropertyPermission * read, write). I typed my permission file below. Can anyone please tell me whats wrong with this? I am doing this on a window 2000 machine. I have a "lib" directory where I store my mail.jar and activation.jar. I really appreciate any help. This is getting on my nerves.

grant
{
permission java.io.FilePermission "${user.dir}\\lib\\mail.jar", "read";
permission java.io.FilePermission "${user.dir}\\lib\\activation.jar", "read";
permission java.net.SocketPermission "SMTP_HOST:25", "connect, resolve";
permission java.net.SocketPermission "IMAP_HOST:143", "connect, resolve";
permission java.util.PropertyPermission "${user.dir}\\-", "read, write";
};
