    SSL warning in IE

I am building a secure portion of my website and get a warning in IE that the secure page contains unsecure material. All of the materials associated with the page are stored in the secured portion of the website. Is it possible that the presence of javascripts is triggering this warning. If so, how do I recode to correct this warning? The warning is disconcerting and if the user selects "accept unsecure material" the padlock disappears. Thanks.
