Access 2000 runtime question
I am looking for a developer's version of access 2000 to create a standalone (runtime) access database program.
I can only ind an office xp developer's edition ($999 !!) full of all sorts of bells and whistles i will never use. Any suggestions/advicee out there for finding an access 2000 runtime compiler (at an affordable price would be nice), I do not want or need deeloper tools for any other office program. Thanks... |

What you need are the MS Office 2000 Developer (Edition?) Tools (aka ODE tools). These allow you to create packages including your database and
an Access 2000 runtime module. I _believe_ that this is available for download from MS. You might have to consider this info, too: URL Additionally, I just hit a web site that might provide an alternative: URL Haven't checked it, though. And another one: URL Even another one: URL |
