Question I'm also working on it.
I'm also working on Iris Recognition. What I'm looking for
now is an Iris Image Database to try my system.

By the way, which approach have you used to find
irises?. I'm not using MATLAB because it's away from
the purposes of my project. It has to be independent,
small and fast. So I decided to use MS Visual C++.

My project is more advanced, because it has to perform
both: Face and Iris Recognition.

How do you perform Iris Recognition regardless of
orientation and eye movement?. Which unexpensive
camera should I choose to get good Iris images?.

i use MATLAB,,,,

sorry to say tht i hav full ideas to work in MATLAB but not with any other softwares like vsual studio,,or etc,,,,

any way if u have any block doubts in the processes i will let u to clear tht,,

I am also working on iris recognition system for my final year project. does anyone have differnet ways to implement the devices? how can i connect them together? are there one way or many?

Exclamation Orientation/Position issues
Hey-
I'm working on iris recognition as well. I have a working model using Matlab 6.5 and a full database from the CASIA. Can anyone offer any advice/code for resolving orientation, size, and position issues when comparing irises. I'd be glad to collaborate; I have the rest of the code but I'm having problems with eyes at different orientations.

Hey.
I am also working on iris reco. I don't have casia_iris database. Would get some time to send the database. I am just been able to construct concentric circles around the pupil. If you want any help regarding this i will be able to help you.

Hi,
could You give me some advices on using Libor Masek's Matlab code ?(i'am a beginner in MATLAB) I've got some problems with gethammingdistance() function.
I have all the templates and noise masks written as a pictures. When I'am trying to run gethammingdist. function it returns an error . You can read it below. Can someone of You help me with that ?

Error in ==> logical at 42

hi i'm working on an iris recognition project i want your advice on something please
i want to collect my own iris data i tried to use a 5 mega pixel digital camera but the results r soo bad i read that u use the panasonic cam does it works & can i access to those captured eye image or not please help my to decide wether to buy it or not thanx a lot

Me and my sister are students of The University of Queensland as computer engineer ,and we have to prepare a project about fingerprint and iris recognition in matlab to pass the lesson called image processing . Actually, we have to study about our senior project, so we don't know matlab yet . If you send me your code and tell how we run this code, we will be very pleased . If you think this is not reasonable to give us your code, we can share our codes about something else that you can use. I am waiting your answers as soon as possible. you can contact me from my mail.

We have no enough time to do this project. So we want your help about this project. We found these projects on the net but we cannot change the code. We cannot give these codes. Thank you all.
