Hello
This is Uma Inturi.I am doing my B.Tech final year project on iris recognition using Gabor filters.I'm using MATLAB 5.1 version for implementing the code.I've one doubt.How to load the iris images in MATLAB and how to access it.In our code what should we give for 'enter test file name'.Please help me out regarding my project work.If possible kindly send me your code.

This is Uma Inturi.How are you implementing identification system using MATLAB with image tool box.My doubt is how to load the iris images in MATLAB and how to access it.I am using MATLAB 5.1 version for this project.kindly help me out.

hi
i dwnlded libor masek prog but am not understanding how to run it. My problems are:
-->which file do i have to start running it with?
-->do i have to copy all the files into single m file or r they accessed frm diff locations on their own?

plz help. in dire straits. have presentation/demo in 3 days n no clue as to wats happenin.

i m interested in iris recognition technology . developing a cost-effective dsp based product for iris recognition . I would like to get help specifically with the daugman algorithm which i think is the key for this .

I got error in line 42 [stat,mess]=fileattrib(savefile); in createiristemplate.m.
I'm using MATLAB 7.0. Please help me.

I also don't understand these code:
savefile = [eyeimage_filename,'-houghpara.mat'];
[stat,mess]=fileattrib(savefile);
Is 'houghpara.mat' an attrib? I read MATLAB Help and only find these attributes:
h Hidden file (Windows only)
s System file (Windows only)
w Write access (Windows and UNIX)
x Executable (UNIX only)
Can anyone explain?

Iris Recognition Project
Hello gs300

I am also working in Iris Recognition but not using MATLAB but VC.NET and C#, to develop a SDK. I am using some advance camera of Panasonic BM-ET330, and IrisAccess 3000 of LG. I need your help (or if possible) your complete code and documentation, only for study purpose.

Iris Recognition + matlab 7.0
hello all

I am here to ask u help and also if u need help we can collaborate. I am doing final year project on Iris recognition and i have tried to run the code by Libor mask it is not even working. I am using Matlab V7.0 . If you have running code or the place which needs modification place help me. i have tried to correct it for the past three weeks but unable to run it properly. I have studied Matlab before that for a month.

Your problem seems complex, have you tried www.kluid.com for matlab question?

1. Edge Detection

try kluid's knowledge databas and look for codes on either Laplace or Harris edge detection methods .. they both are excellent.

2. Histogram Equalization

In matlab command is "HISTEQ" , you can also find more variation of this on the above matlab forum.

3. Image Enhancement

you can use "STRECHLIM" for this, its a inbuilt matlab function.
