1) Use a graphics program (Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, etc...)

2) Hire someone

3) Find someone to do it for free

Do you at least have a concept of what you want? If so, then option 1 may be what you're wanting. If not, and you need help creating the concept and the logo, then go for option 2 or 3... (Option 3 will be harder to come by)

Thanks for your response. Frankly speaking, i do not even have a concept of what i need. So i do not know where to start in the design.

What you should do first is to think what's the concept of your website? Then you can refer to website logo similar to yours

There are certain websites on Google which provides the free tools for generating the logos for the company. Use these tools which will help you in creating a good quality logo.

For designing an awesome logo you need to be very creative...And it's important to always know the specifics of what you or the client is looking for before you start...I want to suggest you to open up photoshop and follow every step, it will help you learn a lot more than just reading it.

The logo of your website or your business plays very important role in the business,but we can't how how the business has been increased.
By using Photoshop you can design the logo.if you are creating the logo for a website,the logo must represent the any of the letter in website name.

i agree. what i did was to get tools and ideas online. but you need to make sure that the logo is related to the website you are designing as well.

Why not try some crowdsourcing services? I believe that's the way to get lots of ideas for less.

Its not a difficult task.... You can do through Photoshop,dreamweaverand other softwares available in market and if you dont have any knowledge then you can do this by hire anyone.

Now a days many tools are available in the market to create logo of site although photoshop and flash are most popular for that otherwise try to search tool in google...Thanks
