Be More Specific
You need to be more specific.
There are lots of different types of traps used in different contexts on different operating systems. Are you looking for an operating system generic answer? (Is this a homework question? Have you done a google search and/or read some books?) This should get you started: Software interrupts caused by an exception are sometimes called traps. When working with virtual memory managers you can have a page-fault trap. Be more specific. |
