image processing
hello everybody
for the LPR (license plate reader), what's the best image processing technique that can be used , is it .. *edge detection , or *thresholding, or *resampling ...???? please.....reply thank you |

I would guess edge detection. license plates have high contrasting letters and the background pattern isn't suppose to interfere with the letters' visibility. You may have problems with really dirty plates.

edge detection, it read more accurately than other image processing methods.
