well i did search but as i said u ....i m confuse and have following Qs..if u can ans me 1-theta in formula of circle a = x*cos(theta) and b=y*sin(theta) is gradient direction...yes / no? 2-gradient direction is always perpendicular to edge direction yes/no? 3-i m not clear about "finding local maxima in accumulator" plzz clear it with the help of example? 4-we will apply canny edge detector on image and then will apply hough transformation,now if it has been mentioned that we only take edge points(feature points)..it means we will not take each and every pixel in image yes/no? 5-Do we need to perform inverse hough transformation after hough transformation yes/no? 6-How we will map the points found in hough space back to image space? i have all these Qs in my mind...i will be very thankful to all of u if anyone of u can ans my Qs...if ans to any of the above Qs is NO plzz do mention reason with it... ![]() |

hi there
In my final year project ... i implement the follwing algorithms : 1- Canny edge detection : it is the best algorithm for edge detection. 2- Apply circular Hough transform to localized the pupil and the iris circle. 3- To remove eyelids, i implemented my own method using linear Hough transform to detect the lower and the upper peaks of the eylids, but you can use parabolic Hough transfom. for the above things i need the java source code... pls mail them at umait87 at gmail i am in search of that code.,.. pls mail me as soon as possible... thank u.. |

Hey Eyad, this is aneesh..I am doing my B.E final year project on 'Iris Recognition System'.I'm using MATLAB 7.0 version for implementing the code.
