What type of programming would you need to know to build something like pipelinedeals.com???

I want to build a specific CRM for a client and we are just designing it on paper with sketches and diagrams and in the next 6 months, I would like to start studying a new language. I know OOP Java and I am a web developer that uses and understands html, css, javascript, and php.

I am just looking for guidance and I was curious as to what a good language to learn for building an online sales/client CRM.

About required knowledge, the missing parts on you list are SQL and database design.

Maybe looking into frameworks could be the next thing to investigate, both for JavaScript and PHP. (or which server-side language you decide to use).
