Searching for phrases in audio
I hope this is on topic. I was looking for a utility that would search audio files (e.g., mp3 files) for a certain word or phrase. Anyone know of such a program, or if it is even possible? Thanks.

Well... your best bet might be with software that converst audio into text and then searching the text. Do a google search on audio to text and see what shows up. Last time I talked about this with some people, about 6 months ago, we concluded that the text to audio conversion just does always work well so it probably would not be reliable but it would certainly be fun to look into.
