Hi all. I have good deal of experience with C and am planning to step into application development using Visual C++ with which i have no experience. Please suggest me the best sources that'll give me the edge. MSDN has numerous Videos all of which talk at a very High Level of abstraction. Yaswant kanethkar's section in "Let us C" dealing with windows programming was apt enough.

Is there a compelling reason you're selecting a Microsoft language to program in, such as a job opportunity?
